What is a verifiable credential?

According to the standards body W3C: A verifiable credential is a specific way to express a set of claims made by an issuer, such as a driver's license or an education certificate.

In more common english, data held on a system can now be securely held and verified from a digital wallet in your phone. However the best way to tell you is to show you examples of VCs in the real world.

They're in physical form

Smartchips in cards, or mobile Sim Cards can be used to store cryptographically sealed data and be verified on electronic readers.

This provides an accessible option for those who don't want to use digital devices.

This is a premium service but provides the most flexibility where clear deliverables are unknown.

This is where a clearly articulated scope of works with a fixed portion of time for delivery is available.

You are able to provide us a statement of requirements and we can respond, or we can do pre-meetings and draft a statement of work based on those discussions for confirmation. This can be for short or longer time periods subject to availability on subject matter experts.

You may want to use our subject matter experts in an existing engagement or provide advice into an existing contract where you are the prime.

This engagement can be on a times and material basis or if there is a fixed statement of work a fixed price can be provided.
